Dear everyone,

It has been some time since I last written on this blog.

As today we all know that Japan, currently is in a terrible crisis situation.

I was there during the earthquake happened.

Things were safe on me, but there are millions of people who are suffering out there without any thing. Empty with a painful heart.

Living in Japan for 10 years. Although I am born and raise in Singapore,

I spent the ten years living and starting my career there.

Learning my photography , language and the beautiful culture with the help, love and support from the Japanese.

Without their help I will not have the opportunity to be what I want to be right now.

Living in the same country, it is my first time in life seeing people who is in need of help so much. Tears breakdown everytime after seeing all the news and reading the papers.Heart is so painful everyday.

Things are no moving well at the moment, but I am sure that after the situation is settled, I am sure it will be.

We will see smile and laugh from everyone.

Japanese are strong, there are people who are risking their life to save the country and also the world ou there right now.

Let us please pray for them and also trust them.

They will make it!

Here are some pictures that I would like to share and to show the world that Japanese are one of the happiest people on earth.

I have photographed these people 2 years ago ranging age from 0 to 100 years old.

The entire book took up a year and a half to get it into shape.

I was asked to shoot 101 people ranging from 0 to 100 years-old.(Real people).

This project is for the coming Japanese New Year Card season.

It took me 4 days to finish the entire session. Also you can never imagine meeting all different ages of people in such a short period.That was indeed a great experience and I am so proud that I was given the opportunity to photograph them as a foreigner living in Japan.

After these experience, I tell myself that I will continue to capture and enjoy the wonderful moment as much as the person could present infront of my lens.

After 3 weeks of non-stop traveling to several countries.I have came across and learned or even realized that how important to be so true and so sincere to everyone who is living around us.

Different nationalities gathered together to produce something that we called 'True Beauty' is the biggest achievement I came about.Being able to communicate, to share and to show true love in a short period is so important.

The concept on this visual is based on a person and his fundamental requirements and needs. What really intrigued me as a photographer was the fact that the man in the visual, is obviously concerned with the need of two of the most basic and fundamental structures found in a home; one being the bed/mattress and the other, the chair. The bed and chair, although simple, basic and commonplace, plays such a critical and important role in our daily lives, These often overlooked items, what is living without them?

Finally,the design tide Tokyo 2007 has ened.I was selected to be one of the artist to represent Singapore for this collaboration project together with 14 Japanse artists.
This exhibition was held in guiliano Fujiwara boutique.I personally went out to check the exhibit with my good friend and we were having so much fun looking at everybodies works.
Contributing and interacting with people from everywhere can be a very good comunicating tool..........................
I hope to contributing more and more in future.
